Anil Rick Soordhar, B.Sc., DDS
Dr. Anil Rick Soordhar received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree
in June 2004 from the University of Western Ontario. Since graduation,
he has accumulated over 1000 hours in Continuing Dental Education
courses and has a special interest in:
- Orthodontic and Orthopedic Treatment for children, teenagers and adults
- Implantology (dental implant surgery and restoration, bone grafting, sinus lifts)
- Cosmetic Dentistry and Full mouth rehabilitation
- Kids dentistry
- Extractions and bone grafting
- Root Canal Therapy
- Periodontal Gum Surgery (Plastic Gum Surgery, Gum Grafting, Crown Lengthening)
- TMJ and Headache (Craniofacial - Head and Neck) Pain treatment using dental orthotics (aka splint) and physical modalities (ex. acupuncture, ultrasound, spray and stretch, HV stimulation, trigger point injections, cold laser treatment)
- Sleep apnea
He has completed extensive studies in the areas of Craniofacial
(TMJ, head and neck) pain and Implantology (surgery and restoration).
He is currently Fellowship and Diplomate eligible with the American Academy of
Craniofacial Pain and Associate Fellowship eligible with the American
Academy of Implantology.
He is currently a member of the Canadian Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the International MYOPAIN Society.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and his interests include photography, snorkeling, reading, and playing X-Box.
