Dr. Vick Soordhar graduated from the Temple University, School of Dentistry in 2007 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (general dentist)
Since graduation as a general dentist, he has completed over 1200 hours of continuing education in various areas of dentistry*:
As a general dentist, he has completed a residency program in TMD and Craniofacial pain through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and obtained his Fellowship in 2013. In 2011, he completed a residency program for Implantology and IV Sedation with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
He has completed extensive studies in the areas of Orthopeadic, Orthodontic and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and Craniofacial (TMJ, head and neck) pain and Implantology (surgery and restoration).
He is currently a member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), Mid-Florida Implant Study Club and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP).
Dr. Soordhar believes in comprehensive dental treatment, but emphasizes education. He believes in presenting knowledge to patients to enable them to have the confidence in making their own decisions and therefore contributing to their treatment plan.
